Theatre Frisco Message to our Patrons

This is a difficult time with constantly changing news about the Coronavirus and its impact on our lives.  The health, safety and well being of our patrons, actors, staff and volunteers is of prime importance to Theatre Frisco and so we have made the unhappy decision to cancel the upcoming production of Barefoot in the Park and to reschedule it to another time.  We are planning to present this show in the second time slot of our 2021 season, roughly similar dates as those planned for in 2020.  We have sold  more than  200 tickets for the show already and are making the following options available for those buyers to choose:

  1. Apply the amount paid for the 2020 performance to 2021 and we will schedule you to attend the corresponding performance as that purchased for 2020.
  2. If you are unsure about 2021 you can request a refund of the amount paid for this show.

We are planning a five production season for 2021 to include two musicals and three plays, one of which will be a Christmas show.  We are now in the process of getting confirmation of the 2021 dates and are deciding on the productions to present.  The show selections have not all been chosen but we are planning our first show to be Jerry’s Girls, a tribute to Jerry Herman who recently passed away.  The show is a musical review featuring songs from his great hits including Hello DollyMameMack and MabelLaCage Aux Folles and others.  The second show will now be Barefoot in the Park and the rest of the season will be announced shortly.  If you apply your 2020 tickets to 2021 and decide to buy season tickets for 2021 when they go on sale we would charge you for four shows with the amount applied completing your five show purchase.  If you do not elect 2021 season tickets you would still have Barefoot in the Park paid for in 2021.

Please send us an email or call 972-370-2266 between the hours of 9 AM and 6 PM to let us know which option you would like or if you have any questions.  We know there are many things you have to deal with at this time but we need to know which option you choose by Wednesday, March 25, 2020.  Our ticketing service needs to have the decisions by a fixed deadline in order to implement the choices efficiently.  Thank you for your understanding and your wonderful support of our Theatre.  We are dedicated to fulfilling our mission of presenting professional quality live entertainment locally at modest prices so everyone can afford to attend.  Looking forward to being able to greet you at the theater again with the words “It’s Showtime”.  In the meantime stay well.
